The seventh entry in Kabuki
Woogie’s coverage of Japanese books on kabuki from my private collection is
this predominantly photographic overview, from 1991, much like the one I recently posted, but
with its contents organized according the Japanese i-ro-ha alphabet, as shown
in the table of contents, which begins with i for iro, ro for roppō, and ha
for hanamichi. The end matter
contains a brief kabuki dictionary and summaries of major plays.
