7, KABUKI BOOK COVERS: KABUKI IROHA EZŌSHI (Alphabetical Picture Book of Kabuki), by Yoshida Chiaki

The seventh entry in Kabuki Woogie’s coverage of Japanese books on kabuki from my private collection is this predominantly photographic overview, from 1991, much like the one I recently posted, but with its contents organized according the Japanese i-ro-ha alphabet, as shown in the table of contents, which begins with i for iro, ro for roppō, and ha for hanamichi. The end matter contains a brief kabuki dictionary and summaries of major plays.
